This Sonata, almost the last Mk1 built, has had a full life in the 20+ years of the current owner’s possession. It has been raced relentlessly around the Moray Firth winning all the trophies at one time or another. She has been cruised all over the West and East of Scotland and the canals.
The Sonata is a boat that is wonderfully lively to sail but never feels as though it is going to kill you. It will always get you there.
She is ready to go, fully equipped, if a touch tired in some departments.

Good Bits, the bulkhead has been replaced and bonded in and beefed up in such a way to prevent water from seeping in the plywood and weakening the rig, at the same time new improved chainplates fitted, new standing rigging and extra internal mast supports to permanently sort out the age old Sonata problems around the bulkhead, this work was carried out in 2014 to a high standard.
