Description:
The Channel 32 was, until the Mystery 35 came along, the largest of the Hunter range. At the time it was awarded RCD Category A certificate (ocean going), and owners have felt comfortable in heavy seas. She is easily handled by two crew (even single handed) but there is room for up to 7 people and she is by far the roomiest of the boats in the Hunter range. 'Soxmox' is a home-completed Channel 32. The kit was purchased in 1993 but not completed until 2001 which was when she was commissioned. The current owner purchased her in 2019 from the family of the original owner who was an RYA instructor. In 2019 the current owner replaced the toilet, bulkhead compass, stereo, running & standing rigging and batteries. The windows were replaced by the original owner in 2015. In 2020 the current owner replaced the stern gland, cutlass bearing and fitted a 3-bladed feathering propellar.
