"Jay" Built in 1995, hull identification number:25.
Comfortable bilge keel. Ideal family boat as this is a six berth (4 berth comfortably) with a 6ft 2in cabin height, well equipped galley and private heads. We bought Jay 10 years ago and I have sailed her with my 84 year old father (admittedly he sat with his hand on the tiller) mostly around the South coast. We were novices in cruiser sailing so chose this boat due to its self tacking roller reefed jib, two main sail reefing points and, as it turned out, its a confident boat in trickier conditions. She is equipped with an engine independent D1LC compact air heater with integrated control unit and a IC-M411 VHF transceiver. Powered by a Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine which has been serviced annually. NAVMAN Tracker 5600 chart plotter, ST40 Bidata (speed/depth etc) NASA wireless anemometer, ST1000 Tiller Pilot and compass. Banks main sail, NorthSail furling Jib and Hyde cruising chute with snuffer. Avon redstar inflatable dinghy (3 person) and Suzuki 2.5hp outboard. New shaft anodes fitted (x2) and freshly anti-fouled.
Jay is located at a marina (out of the water at present) on the River Itchen.
