Comfortable bilge keel. Ideal family boat as this is a six berth (4 berth comfortably) with a 6ft 2in cabin height, well equipped galley and private heads. We bought Jay 10 years ago and I have sailed her with my 84 year old father (admittedly he sat with his hand on the tiller) mostly around the South coast. In 1994, British Hunter introduced the new Ranger hull shape to their collection, which included the now popular Hunter 265. The range was designed by David Thomas and they have great stability due to the hull having long waterlines and the existence of a subtle chine.
