NIMBUS - Hunter Formula 28 - classic Steve Jones Racing Yacht. Most recently raced on the Thames and Medway - an absolute beauty to helm. Particularly successful on the Thames with 3 top 3 places in Thames Trafalgar, Travellers and club series wins. With her black hull and carbon sails she’s very distinguishable on pictures and well known at SE Sailing clubs. She comes with full set of carbon sails and a large suite of cruising and other sails. Regularly raced and well looked after and maintained with lots of new running/standing gear such as blocks, clutches, halyards, etc. outboard (strong enough for tidal Thames or Medway to manoeuvre) and yard stand included.
Designed by Stephen Jones as a One Design in the Half Ton mould Nimbus began life as one of 5 boats racing from Cork under the name Le Big Mac, after a period of neglect she was rescued and raced as Wot Like before coming to the Thames in 2012.
She has given much joy to many sailors and we are now seeking a good home to enable this to continue….more pictures and videos available on demand
