The Eagle 53 is the latest and presently the largest Eagle Cruiser. The interior has two optional layouts: Two staterooms with bathrooms and a small office or laundry on the port side or alternatively with an owner's stateroom and two guest cabins. The Eagle 53 is fitted with twin 230 hp Electronic QSB5.9 Cummins diesels as standard providing a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of about 700 miles. Optional larger engines for a top speed of up to 21 knots can be installed. An 8 KW gen set is standard.
The Eagle 53 achieves the perfect balance of a clean, modern sleek design with a traditional pilothouse line.
The superior performance and directional stability are enhanced by the keel depth and unique hull properties. Coupled with the size and weight of the boat, the ride is smooth and efficient at any speed. The trawler look is evident in the covered side decks, completely covered aft deck, large Portuguese bridge, tumblehome transom and spacious flying bridge.

The fly bridge provides exceptional visibility and fine weather cruising. On it the wheel is set amidships, in a large console for full instrumentation. On the port side are molded seats with interior storage providing a large area for comfort and relaxation. On the aft fly bridge a big entertainment area can be fitted as option with an additional settee, table, sink and a BBQ countertop.
The boat has very generous walk-around decks providing for on deck safety and easy mobility in getting around in the boat, and especially while docking or mooring. The high bulwarks are accented with a teak caprail and a non-skid FRP deck. The skipper can access the side decks quickly through the pilothouse cabin doors and through the Portuguese bridge to the foredeck. To move up to the fly bridge there is an internal, lighted staircase from the pilothouse and a ladder from the cockpit.
The saloon on the aft main deck, opens out onto the cockpit through a single glass stainless-steel-framed sliding door. The cockpit is spacious and beyond the transom is a teak and stainless steel swimming platform to make boarding and swimming easier.

Main Deck Plan
Owner may choose from those three different living area layouts to meet his particular preferences. A large, well-appointed saloon provides a spacious area for family and friends; it is richly fitted in teak joinery with an autolift dining table and an L or U shaped lounge. The galley has an efficient layout and is designed for real cooking; the Eagle galley has loads of storage space under the portside sinks and above the counters; a gas cook top, black granite counter tops, and a microwave. A large fridge -freezer is opposite to starboard. Five sliding windows provide excellent ventilation and visibility.
The pilothouse is very spacious. The helmsman is well treated with a great view through the seven large safety glass windows and a seat that is both luxurious and functional. Port and starboard stainless steel doors, have interior, teak paneling and provide easy access to the bow and walkways aft. Aft stairs lead down to the saloon; up to the flybridge, and from the forward, port side, down to the staterooms. The pilothouse has a traditional and luxurious feeling, created by the teak bulkheads, teak sole, teak dinning table and the soft, upholstered L-shaped settee. The adjustable height table has considerable storage space underneath the raised table base.
For the captain's easy viewing, large areas of both horizontal and vertical spaces are provided for instrumentation. Overhead instrument space, above the front windows, is also available. All instrumentation areas are easily accessed by removable panels. Chart storage, and a full-size counter to view them, is to the portside of the teak helm. AC/DC breaker panels are below the helm.

Lower Deck Plan
In the standard two stateroom version, a wide staircase from the pilothouse provides access to the small companionway which separates the aft master stateroom from the forward guest stateroom. The master cabin, positioned amidships, is full beam, spacious and richly finished in teak, with teak and holly cabin soles throughout. It boasts a queen-sized island berth with en-suite bathroom including a stall shower, an electric toilet, two hanging lockers, a desk/cosmetic dresser, with a swing away chair underneath, and side drawers.
The guest stateroom also features a queen size island bed with easy access, plenty of natural light and storage with a second, adjacent bathroom aft.
Both the master and guest stateroom offer excellent storage with an abundance of lockers and drawers, to cope with heavy luggage demands of extended cruising.

About Transpacific Marine:
Almost five decades of experience in building sail and power yachts in Asia is limited to very few companies, and TRANSPACIFIC MARINE CO. LTD. is one of these few companies. Forty seven years ago, Nancy and Ennals Ives, Transpac's founders, began living in Taiwan, while building 38' and 40', wooden sailboats.
Sailing their own boats in California, prior to living in Taiwan, prepared Nancy and Ennals, to understand the necessity of high quality and strong, safe methods of construction needed in ocean going yachts. Their experience in sail and powerboat cruising and construction, and knowing how yachts will perform in various weather conditions, has contributed to the success of Transpac yachts.
Early in the life of Transpac, the Ives recognized the necessity to involve a local partner. Consequently the current President, prominent Taiwan business woman, Mary Chou, joined the company. After Ennals' passing in 2006, Nancy has retired a year after that, she is still involved as a consultant.
In the 1990s, Transpac moved its building operation to the Eastern China city, of Ningbo, where they continue production of the Eagle Motoryachts.
Parts and equipment for Eagles are purchased in the U.S., Taiwan and in China. U.S. Coast Guard Standards are followed in fitting out the yacht, including the engine wiring and fuel systems. All systems are thoroughly tested at sea before shipment.
The Transpac staff has excellent communication skills in English, Chinese and Italian, ensuring that each buyer's request is accurately explained to the workforce. Limited production enables Transpac to pay attention to the small details, as well as to the overall construction and outfitting of the entire boat.
